Job summary

Providence Swedish Issaquah seeks a Nursing Manager to lead a patient care unit within Nursing Services, guiding clinical and operational activities in line with the hospital's mission and values.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN (or ADN with BSN plan), Washington RN license, BLS by AHA, and at least 3 years of related nursing experience; MSN and first-line management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing, or ADN with a commitment to obtain a BSN within two years of hire.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years of recent experience in a related clinical area of nursing.
• Must meet the criteria of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• The manager is accountable for the overall management and leadership of a unit or a group of patient care units within Nursing Services.
• The manager is responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission, vision, and values.
