Job summary

Williamson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Postpartum/Nursery unit to provide obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care. This PRN night shift role supports holistic patient care with education, emotional support, and safe medication administration.

Candidates should have Tennessee licensure, a nursing degree, and recent perinatal experience; BLS and NRP are required within specified timelines. STABLE may be pursued within six months.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
• Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• NRP within 90 days of hire.
• STABLE certification or agree to obtain within six months of hire.
• ACLS/ALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments at admission using observation and exams.
• Plans individualized care with nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Instructs on discharge needs and post-care planning when appropriate.
• Documents accurately and timely in the patient record.
• Adjusts care plans based on patient response and condition.
