Qualifications

  • Experience with molecular techniques such as cloning, qRT-PCR, ELISA, protein expression and purification.
  • ChIP-Seq, protein interaction studies, and in vivo models are advantageous; bioinformatic data analysis helpful.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative lab environment.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate how c-di-GMP controls sporulation, toxin production, and biofilm formation in C. difficile.
  • Characterize regulatory networks involved in virulence and sporulation.
  • Apply omics approaches (RNA-Seq, genome sequencing, proteomics) to dissect gene regulation mechanisms.
