Job summary

You will manage inventory, maintain notebooks, assist with grant submissions, and collaborate with labs across the US while complying with IACUC and biosafety policies.

Qualifications

• 4 years of research experience with bacteria; education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform routine research tasks following established procedures and document results.
• Manage lab inventory, order supplies, and maintain records.
• Maintain a current laboratory notebook with calculations and experiments.
• Collaborate with other labs across the US on studies.
• Generate data and assist with grant submissions and publications.
• Discuss experimental design and results in lab meetings.
• Follow IACUC and biosafety protocols; complete required trainings.
