Qualifications

• Education: PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Work Experience: Research experience using BSL-2 organisms and mouse models.
• Preferred: Experience with C. difficile or related organism; omics data analysis; animal infection models.

Responsibilities

• Design and perform research related to Clostridioides difficile infection under faculty mentorship.
• Include molecular cloning, animal infection models, and microscopy as needed.
• Perform data analysis, prepare presentations and manuscripts, and contribute to grant applications.
• Publish results and present at department seminars and scientific meetings.
