Qualifications

  • PhD in neuroscience.
  • Hands-on experience with in vivo calcium imaging.
  • Experience with microglia biology or neuroimmune interactions.
  • Behavioral experiments.
  • Solid data analysis skills (e.g., MATLAB or Python for calcium imaging data).
  • FELASA B certification to conduct mouse experiments (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Lead independent research projects within the lab’s research program.
  • Perform in vivo calcium imaging and behavioral experiments.
  • Analyze neuronal and microglial activity datasets (e.g., calcium imaging).
  • Conduct immunohistochemistry and morphological analysis of microglia and neurons.
  • Apply for postdoc fellowship with help from the lab whenever possible.
