Job summary

Qualifications

  • PhD in neuroscience or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with rodents.
  • Experience with rodent stereotactic brain surgery for virus injection or fiber implantation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stereotaxic surgeries for virus injection and fiber implantation in mice.
  • Conduct behavioral tasks of fear generalization and cognitive flexibility.
  • Use optogenetic and chemogenetic techniques to manipulate circuits in behaving mice.
  • Analyze in vivo imaging data using MATLAB or Python; present findings.
