Job summary

The Ainslie Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking two postdoctoral researchers to join interdisciplinary projects at the interface of immunology and drug delivery.

We welcome engineers, chemists, biochemists, and immunologists to contribute to NIH-funded studies on biomaterials to modulate CAR-T/NKT cells and to evaluate tolerogenic pathways for putative vaccines against autoimmune diseases.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with strong hands-on research experience.
• Strong background in one or more of the listed techniques (flow cytometry, in vivo work).
• Excellent communication and publication record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to interdisciplinary projects at the interface of immunology and drug delivery.
• Perform in vitro and in vivo experiments; assist with data analysis.
• Develop and evaluate biomaterials to modulate CAR-T/NKT cell responses.
• Collaborate with NIH-funded projects and co-workers across disciplines.
