Job summary

The Ainslie Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking two postdoctoral researchers to join an interdisciplinary program at the intersection of immunology and drug delivery. Projects span biomaterials modulating CAR-T/NKT cells for glioblastoma therapy and tolerogenic pathways for an inverse vaccine against autoimmune diseases.

Ideal candidates have a background in flow cytometry, animal models, and related immunology techniques, with hands-on training across formulation

Qualifications

• Background in one or more of the listed techniques (flow cytometry, animal models, mammalian cell culture, ELISA, immune-cell isolation and culture, vaccines, drug delivery systems, immunological assays, in vivo evaluation).
• Experience with flow cytometry and animal studies is particularly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to formulation development and physicochemical characterization.
• Perform cell-based assays and immunological mechanistic studies.
• Conduct animal studies and translational evaluation as part of a collaborative team.
