Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for the Post-Surgical Unit. The PSU nurse provides nursing care per standards, responds to emergencies, and supports patient education. Texas RN license and BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Minimum 2 years in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU is expected. Join a dedicated team offering comprehensive perioperative services with modern facilities and electronic health records.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
Current Texas RN License; BLS on hire and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
Minimum two years’ experience as an RN in a hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU Unit.

Responsibilities

Perform direct patient care within RN scope and hospital policies.
Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on patient needs and physician orders.
Respond to emergencies and provide medical screening exams as delegated.
