Palm Beach State College is seeking Post Secondary Advisors to provide counseling and coordinate program activities for low-income, first-generation students at the Lake Worth Campus. The roles are grant-funded with 3 positions available, requiring a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience.
Responsibilities include advising, assisting with financial aid questions, recruitment/retention activities, and supporting outreach and workshops.

Responsible for providing comprehensive student advisement and coordinating program related activities. Supports program operations and assists with identifying and selecting eligible participants. Delivers educational, vocational, and personal counseling to low-income students who are potential first-generation college attendees. Guides students academically, administers assessments, and facilitates referrals to support students in achieving their educational goals. Conducts targeted outreach initiatives and organizes academic and professional development workshops. This position requires working a fluctuating schedule, including nights and weekends. This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding. There are 3 positions available at the Lake Worth Campus.

The minimum base pay for this position starts at $44,587.00 annually; however, the offer may vary based on the candidate’s education and experience.
