Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Service Crew Member to join a team repairing buildings and delivering a positive customer experience.

You will learn and apply safety and construction procedures, read plans, and perform tasks such as door and window replacements, roofing, footings, framing, and finishing with various materials. The role requires 30% travel, the ability to lift heavy objects, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction (post-frame) or framing preferred (on the job or in school).
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds.
• This position requires 30% travel, including overnight travel possibly up to two weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures to every building, every day.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Execute tasks to complete a quality building (repairing) including doors, roofing, gutters, footings and framing.
• Operate construction hand tools and equipment safely, efficiently.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule and work in various weather conditions.
