Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking construction crew members to join our team under the guidance of your crew foreman.

You will learn, read, and apply our safety and construction procedures, read construction plans, and use various tools and equipment to safely and efficiently construct buildings. Responsibilities include digging footings, framing walls and roof structures, installing windows, doors, siding, and roofing materials, and finishing with trims.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in training program.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must be able to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with occasional lifts up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to work in physically demanding environments and at heights up to 40 feet.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to safely construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls and roof structures, install windows, doors, siding, and roofing materials, and finish trims.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, productive environment and show respect to teammates.
