Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking construction crew members to join our employee‑owned teams in Florida. You will learn and apply safety procedures, read construction plans, and use tools to build post‑frame buildings across sites with travel.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with weekly pay and bonuses including a $2000 first‑year bonus and $500 quarterly during the first year, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Post-frame construction or carpentry experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Able to take direction and produce quality work.
• Comply with safety processes and procedures.
• Maintain and operate construction tools safely.
• Operate specialized safety equipment safely.
• Able to lift 50 lb, up to 100 lb occasionally.
• Capable of working at heights up to 40 feet.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand, and build according to construction plans.
• Use various tools and equipment to construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings; frame walls and roofs; install windows and doors; install siding and roofing materials; apply trims.
• Collaborate with crew in a safe, productive environment.
