Job summary
Cleary Building Corp is seeking a Carpenter to join our field crew in Prairie du Chien, WI. You will construct post-frame buildings, operate basic hand and power tools, and work at heights up to 35 feet while outdoors in varied weather.
We offer on-the-job training, mentorship, and structured pay progression. Opportunities exist to advance through Foreman in Training and into leadership roles as you develop your carpentry and construction skills.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Prior experience in construction or the trades is a plus – but not required.
- Willing to learn and grow in the role.
- Competitive starting wages.
- Structured pay increases at key milestones.
- Weather pay and travel pay (where applicable).
Responsibilities
- Construct post frame buildings from the ground up.
- Operate a variety of basic hand and power tools.
- Work at heights on ladders and aerial platforms (up to 35 feet).
