Essent Group Ltd. seeks a Post Close Specialist to review executed loan documents for accuracy, ensuring lender requirements are met and proper execution across signatures, notary, and legal descriptions.

The role involves scanning packages, preparing true records, and shipping documents to lenders and borrowers on-site in Coraopolis, PA. The position requires strong attention to detail, plus proficiency in MS Office and RamQuest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of related experience in the title insurance industry or financial services organization preferred.
• Experience with RamQuest closing operations system and all integration systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as title commitment, lender’s instructions, purchase contracts and other related documents required to verify the lender’s closing requirement have been met.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to follow workflow and manage their daily WIP.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review each executed set of loan documents for accuracy via manual audit or automated audit (AI) of the borrower’s signatures, witnesses, notary execution (as required by state), legal description review and that all documents have been completed to meet lender requirements.
• Scan loan packages, prepare certified true recordables, ship loan documents to lenders and borrowers. File documents and maintain file cabinet organization.
• Responsible for shipping all executed documents to the lender by following the instructions provided in the lender’s closing package.
• Manage daily workload effectively and efficiently. Follow the workflow for returning documents, noting the system, and completing the required events.
• Work with Team Lead on resolution to post-closing issues and questions. On all escalations the specialists are to involve the Team Lead.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
