Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Eastlake is an investment casting foundry focused on aerospace and gas turbine components. The Production and Operations leader will guide post-cast departments to meet production, regulatory, and profitability targets while driving cost reductions and quality improvements.

You will plan, budget, and develop projects to boost productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven to ten years manufacturing experience in increasingly responsible roles.
• Knowledge of the casting industry, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex documents and reports (Oracle reports, PEIs).
• Strong leadership, teamwork, safety and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement department policies, goals and procedures with leadership alignment.
• Ensure post-cast production and financial goals are met.
• Review forecasts with Manufacturing and Engineering to adjust schedules.
• Oversee production planning, staffing, and inventory within budget constraints.
• Assist Sales with quotes, field visits, and operational concerns.
• Monitor performance data to identify cost reductions and improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and production quality standards.
• Identify capital projects and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA safety compliance and Lean practices.
• Hire, train and evaluate post-cast staff.
