Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Grants Administrator II to manage post-award research administration, providing essential support to Principal Investigators and departmental staff. The role ensures timely and accurate financial information essential for effective grant management.

This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in complex research portfolios while maintaining strong relationships with faculty and the Office of Research Administration. The candidate should have at least 2 years of related experience and an Associate’s Degree.

Qualifications

• 2 years in research administration-related work.
• Demonstrates knowledge of pre- and post-award research administration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data.

Responsibilities

• Administers assigned grants and subawards in compliance with sponsor requirements.
• Maintains accurate accounting records and reconciles accounts.
• Supports progress report preparation and post-award deliverables.

Excellent written communication skills

Analytical abilities

Knowledge of research administration processes

Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Education

Associate’s Degree in General Studies, Business, Finance or Healthcare Administration
