University of Colorado Anschutz seeks a Principal Specialist in Post Award Finance to oversee grant and clinical trial post-award activities within the Department of Surgery. You will apply expertise in research administration, budgeting, reporting, and compliance to support PI funding and expenditures.

The role requires coordinating with PIs, submitting journals and invoices, and ensuring accuracy of budgets and awards. Hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; substitution allowed.
• 1 year professional level experience in sponsored project administration or related finance administration.
• Senior/Principal levels require 2/5 years respectively of experience in sponsored project administration or related finance administration.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and forecasts for PIs.
• Process payroll expense transfers and funding entries; review time reporting.
• Manage award data, budgets, no-cost extensions, and invoicing with sponsors.
• Serve as subject matter expert for DOS and manage multiple grants and contracts per CFR 200.
