Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related major; substitution of education with related experience is allowed.
Three or more years of experience in preparing detailed budgets, expense reports, and financial projections.

Responsibilities

Notify PI of budget restrictions and re-budget according to sponsor notices.
Establish and manage subcontracts with participating institutions and ensure timely invoicing.
Oversee funding distribution, monitor monthly funding and payroll transfers, and ensure compliance with policies.
Prepare Federal Financial Reports and Final Expenditure Reports for sponsors.
Develop and present projection reports, review revenue, expenditures, and encumbrances.
Closeout: reconcile expenses and ensure all invoices and payments are completed.
Generate ad hoc reports and assist with quarterly budget/cash balance reviews.
