Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota seeks a Positive Support Specialist on a part-time basis at the Austin, MN location. The role includes shifts from 6 AM to 2 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, and 10 PM to 6 AM Awake, with a $19/hour rate and a $1000 Hiring Bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree preferred in a related field.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or be on feet for long periods.
• Background check (BCA) and driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals become more independent in daily living skills.
• Advocate for rights and medical care in the community.
• Complete shift documentation and record-keeping.
• Manage crisis situations safely with training provided.
• Provide trauma-informed care daily.
