Mains’l is seeking a Positive Support Specialist to work in homes and community settings, implementing Positive Support Plans and teaching new skills to individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health needs. You will coach teams, collaborate with families and professionals, and help people achieve meaningful outcomes.
You will document progress, collect behavioral data, and provide input on interventions to support treatment planning.
As a member of Mains'l's Wellness Team, the Positive Support Specialist partners with individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health needs to improve quality of life through person-centered, evidence-based behavioral supports. Working in homes and community settings, this role implements Positive Support Plans, teaches new skills, provides coaching to support teams, and collaborates with families and professionals to help people achieve meaningful outcomes.
In this role, you'll help people build new skills, increase independence, and experience greater success in their homes and communities through compassionate, evidence-based support.
