As a member of the Wellness department this position provides advanced assessment, therapeutic interventions and clinical consultation for persons who have developmental disabilities and coexisting mental health concerns with behavioral health needs, and their support teams.
As a behavioral/mental health professional the Behavioral Health Counselor provides behavioral/mental health assessment, helps to develop person-centered treatment plans, and associated training, in support of the person and their support teams within home and community based settings as well as in private family homes. The position works collaboratively with support team members such as parents/guardians, staff, families, employers, schools, mental health professionals, medical professionals, and other stakeholders in assessment, intervention development, training, and evaluation.

Salary: $51,617-$62,904, annually, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time, flexible hours with a minimum of 29 billable hours weekly
This position requires travel to various locations in the community and to meetings throughout the metro area.
