Job summary

Otter Valley Union High School in Brandon, Vermont is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to support students in the school’s alternative program and general education settings. Qualifications

• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• Will accept a High School Diploma, pass the Paraeducator Assessment Modules within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group instruction and support.
• Assist students with social, emotional and behavioral goals in classroom and program settings.
• Maintain data on student behavior and progress and communicate with case manager.
