Job summary

Montville Public Schools is seeking a Behavior Interventionist to provide targeted behavioral support for students with identified needs. The role reports to the building principal and collaborates with special education staff to implement behavior plans.

This 10-month position runs Monday through Friday, 7:40 AM to 2:40 PM, up to 32.5 hours per week. Salary is $20.18 per hour, with duties including collaboration with teachers to support positive student outcomes. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree or higher desirable.
• Previous experience working with children desirable.
• Experience working with students with behavioral challenges in an educational setting, ideally within special education is desirable.
