Job summary

Papa Murphy's is seeking an Application Specialist to administer, configure, and support restaurant technology with a focus on POS systems, especially Toast POS. This role ensures accurate menu configuration, reliable integrations, and smooth deployment of new technology initiatives across our Vancouver, WA operations.

In this hybrid position, you will partner with Operations, Marketing, Training, and vendors, train staff, perform testing, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2+ years of restaurant technology, POS administration, or business application support experience.
• Previous restaurant operations experience or direct support of multi-unit restaurant environments.
• Experience with Toast POS configuration, implementation, support, or administration preferred.
• Experience with software testing, deployments, system integrations, and vendor management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain POS systems, including menu management, pricing, modifiers, promotions, discounts, taxes, tender types, and reporting structures.
• Maintain databases, product catalogs, vendor information, and operational configurations.
• Configure, test, and deploy approved system changes for new items, promotions, and initiatives.
• Serve as primary SME for POS and restaurant technology applications.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors to resolve them.
