Job summary

Blackleaf Marketing, LLC. seeks a QA & Implementation Specialist — POS to bridge software testing and customer onboarding for cannabis dispensaries. You will validate workflows, coordinate implementation steps, and help teams resolve issues before and after launch.

You will build tests for POS integrations, verify data mappings, and guide customers through setup and training while documenting issues for engineering partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in software QA, SaaS implementation, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Ability to write clear test cases, reproduce bugs, and distinguish configuration issues from defects.
• Familiarity with POS systems or integrations that connect customer and transaction data.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute manual test cases for POS integrations and marketing workflows.
• Test field mappings, duplicate handling, transaction updates, errors and recovery.
• Document defects with steps, expected/actual results, and logs; verify fixes and run regressions.
• Gather customer requirements and coordinate configuration, data validation, and go-live readiness.
• Troubleshoot integration issues using logs, API responses, and data exports; escalate clearly.
• Guide dispensary teams through setup and training in plain language.
• Maintain implementation checklists, tests, troubleshooting guides, and handoff notes.
• Handle customer data carefully and validate consent/data flows per product requirements.
• Share testing insights with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
