Pointwest Technologies Corp is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for Store Systems & POS Technologies in Louisville, KY. You will ensure end-to-end QA across store hardware, POS terminals, kitchen systems, and payment workflows in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The role requires hands-on testing of hardware, software, and integrations across DSPs and payment networks, with emphasis on PCI-DSS compliance and accurate EOD reconciliation.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of QA experience focused on QSR store systems, POS (PAR Brink, Aloha, Toast) and payment terminals.
• Solid understanding of PCI-DSS compliance and EMV processing.
• Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Charles Proxy) to validate store-to-cloud payloads.

Responsibilities

• Store POS & Lab Management: Configure and test store hardware including PAR/Brink POS terminals, printers, cash drawers, and KDS screens.
• Complex Menu & Product Matrix: Validate pizza builder configurations and their translation from register to KDS screens.
• Delivery & Dispatch Systems: Test kitchen dispatch and delivery integrations including DSP handoffs (e.g., DoorDash Drive).
• In-Store Payments: Validate EMV, contactless NFC, and gift card transactions across terminal networks, including offline mode and till reconciliation.
• Franchise Enterprise Sync: Test EOD reporting, inventory updates, and enterprise menu pushes across locations.
