Job summary

Cardinal in Saint Louis is seeking an experienced computer and network technician to service and maintain our restaurant and retail POS systems at customer locations. You will travel to sites, install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, network devices, and POS software, providing on-site and remote support, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Knowledge of network configurations, Cat5-6 cabling, switches, routers, and access points.
• Experience with Windows and iOS operating systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage, install, configure, and maintain POS systems and software.
• Provide on-site and remote support and troubleshooting to end users.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network issues escalated from L1/L2.
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
