Job summary

HDR is seeking a Ports & Maritime Project Manager in Houston to lead multi-discipline teams from development through close-out. You will manage complex projects, coordinate multiple initiatives, and maintain strong client relations while ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.

The role requires a PE license, 7 years of related experience (including 2 in project management), and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • 7 years of related experience, including at least 2 years in project management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license required.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills are essential.
  • Active participation in an employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams through the project lifecycle.
  • Manage all aspects of complex small to medium projects or large routine projects.
  • Produce and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
  • Establish and maintain client relations and participate in meetings across marketing, contracts, design and production.
  • Lead work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload across the lifecycle and ensure deliverables meet schedule.
