Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Ports and Marine Senior Lead Engineer/Project Manager to lead structural analysis and design for marine and upland components across Raleigh, Miami, Houston, San Diego, and Irvine locations. You will mentor engineers, manage project plans, and coordinate with Navy/port clients on complex waterfront projects.

The role emphasizes independence, adherence to codes (UFC, PIANC, ASCE-61), and effective communication with stakeholders in a dynamic maritime team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of port structure analysis/design experience.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated safety performance and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform and supervise structural analysis and design for marine/up land components.
• Lead development of plans, specs, schedules and cost estimates for port and Navy projects.
• Attend client meetings and perform site visits.
• Mentor developing port and maritime engineers.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance across interdisciplinary requirements.
