Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Ports and Marine Senior Lead Engineer/Project Manager to drive design and project delivery from key US offices, including Miami and Tampa, with opportunities across the nation. You will lead structural analysis, mooring/berthing studies, and prepare plans and cost estimates for port and Navy projects, mentoring engineers while ensuring safety and quality throughout the engagement.

This role requires a PE license, 10+ years in port structures, and ability to collaborate with Navy,

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in analysis and design of port structures.
Professional Engineer license (PE).
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Commitment to safety policies and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Independently perform and supervise structural analysis and design for marine and upland components.
Independently perform and supervise berthing and mooring analyses.
Lead development of plans, specifications, schedules and cost estimates for port and Navy projects.
Understand maritime codes and references including UFC, PIANC, ASCE-61.
Prepare basis of design, design calculations, technical reports and study reports.
QA/QC reviews and coordinate with interdisciplinary requirements for port projects.
Attend client meetings and perform site visits.
Mentor developing port and maritime engineers.
Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and company policies.
