Fisher Phillips' Portland, ME office is expanding, and we are seeking an attorney with 4+ years of litigation experience to join our industry-leading restrictive covenants and trade secrets practice group. This is a partner-track opportunity to work with attorneys in Portland and across the firm who focus on restrictive covenants, non-compete agreements, trade secrets, and employee mobility matters on a national and international basis.
You will work closely with members of the firm’s restrictive covenants and trade secrets practice group to handle matters involving covenants not to compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements, unfair competition, employee raiding and team moves, trade secrets, duty of loyalty, the U.S. Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), the U.S. Computer Fraud & Abuse Act (CFAA), and various state trade secrets and unfair competition statutes. The successful candidate will join a growing firm-wide practice group and have the opportunity to work with and receive mentoring from experienced practitioners, not only in Portland, but also throughout the firm’s US and international offices. The team represents national and local companies across a wide range of industries, including financial services, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, apparel, insurance and benefits, staffing and PEO services, healthcare, security and automation, and other sectors.
Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters and priorities in a busy but highly collaborative environment. A portable book of business is not required.
Admission to the Maine Bar is required - must have it or be willing to apply and get it.

The yearly salary range for this position is $170,000 - $210,000+. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
