Job summary

Kivo, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a Technical Implementation Manager to own the technical side of customer deployments, from environment provisioning to initial configuration and ongoing refinements.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, engineering, and customers to deliver successful implementations in a hybrid, two-day-in-office setup. You will also drive AI adoption, build reusable tooling, manage migrations, and provide responsive technical support during West Coast hours,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical implementation or similar role.
• Hands-on configuration in consoles, configs, APIs, or scripting.
• Ability to execute data and document migrations.
• Experience using AI tools to build workflows or automations.
• Scripting ability is a plus (SQL/Python/JavaScript).
• Strong cross-functional communication with customers, support, and engineering.
• On-site availability in Portland, OR 2 days/week.
• Customer-focused with a B2B mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own configuration: perform hands-on technical setup and environment tuning.
• Translate requirements into concrete configurations and troubleshoot directly.
• Lead technical delivery as primary contact during implementations.
• Champion AI adoption and build AI tooling to speed implementations.
• Build reusable AI-powered tooling and scripts.
• Execute data and system migrations to enable transitions from legacy systems.
• Provide responsive support via email, chat, and ticketing systems; triage issues and escalate when needed.
• Document common issues and resolutions for the knowledge base.
