City National Bank is seeking a Portfolio Management Risk Specialist to identify and mitigate operational and regulatory risks within Client Portfolio Management. You will analyze risk reports, collaborate with portfolio managers to remediate issues, and design controls with the governance team.

You will draft procedures, monitor KRIs/KPIs, and support audits. Strong MS Office, banking experience, and leadership across multiple lines of defense are essential in this role.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years managing projects in financial services.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.

Mansioni

• Run, analyze, and interpret business reports to identify operational and regulatory risks.
• Engage portfolio managers to review findings and address issues.
• Develop remediation plans and strengthen control frameworks.
• Draft and maintain procedure documentation and governance frameworks.
• Monitor KRIs, KPIs, and Issue Management in risk programs.
• Collaborate with 2nd/3rd lines of defense to strengthen controls.
• Design preventive and detective portfolio management controls.
• Develop and oversee new risk management programs with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as liaison between business and risk/compliance/audit functions.
