Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Senior Business Controls Analyst to partner with the BCO and BCMs for Consumer Banking, shaping the control framework and risk management practices across the organization.

The role involves developing and implementing control assessments, guiding control standards, and coordinating with 2LOD and RBC testing, while building a strong risk culture and effective stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years within or related to financial services.
• Minimum 5 years of auditing, risk, control or finance consulting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with risk management methodologies.
• Minimum 3 years of Advanced level experience in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement control-related assessments and programs.
• Collaborate with 2LOD to strengthen risk management practices.
• Provide guidance on Control Standards and ensure documentation of controls.
• Coordinate 2LOD Review & Challenge with LOB and RBC testing guidance.
• Develop concise communications and presentations for senior management.
