Job summary

Newmark Group seeks an experienced real estate operations leader to manage policies, budgets and tenant services across a multi-property portfolio in Columbus, OH. The role emphasizes owner objectives, environmental health and safety, and value through strong vendor management, financial reporting, and lease administration.

The position requires 8+ years in property operations, a business-related degree, and certifications such as RPA/CCIM/CPM.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; RPA and CCIM or CPM certification required.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in property operations.
Knowledge in leasing and construction management.
Portfolio management experience with direct reports.
Valid real estate license where required.

Responsibilities

Assist in strengthening owner relationships and respond proactively to owners’ needs.
Assist senior management in aligning goals for asset performance.
Prepare and report information to staff and owners.
Create service upgrades to exceed client expectations.
Develop staffing plans and promote ongoing staff education.
Oversee annual operating budget and monthly financial reporting.
Review lease reconciliations and estimates for accuracy.
Set on-site staff goals and conduct evaluations.
Prepare lease abstracts and approve contract service outputs.
Review and monitor vendor performance and payments.
Conduct weekly site visits and quarterly portfolio inspections.
Plan short- and long-range property initiatives.
