This role facilitates decision-making and analysis of all types of credit information to support lending decisions and processes for the bank. It involves maintaining a client service environment to satisfy and exceed customer needs, making credit decisions in accordance with sound credit-granting principles, and ensuring compliance with Bank Policies & Procedures.
- Establish cross-selling initiatives to increase client penetration.
- Apply deep expertise in bank products, processes, and systems; troubleshoot to ensure high-quality client experiences.
- Coordinate closing processes with clients, attorneys, and closing departments.
- Serve as a daily escalation resource to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the assigned business/group.
- Influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives.
- Recommend and implement solutions based on issue analysis and business implications.
- Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues.
- Help determine business priorities and sequencing for strategy execution.
- Act as the SME for internal/external stakeholders.
- Participate in developing financial models and analytical tools for client evaluation.
- Design and produce reports and dashboards.
- Stay current on financing trends in target markets and communicate insights to team members.
- Lead or participate in communication plans to influence behavior, develop messaging, and identify channels.
- Oversee preparation of concise, well-reasoned credit correspondence.
- Coordinate lending proposals and pitches to maximize penetration and returns.
- Negotiate transactions and provide deal structuring expertise.
- Oversee documentation and ongoing monitoring of assets and client performance.
- Manage workflow of analysts as needed.
- Provide financial analysis and risk assessment for new and existing customers.
- Partner with internal stakeholders for detailed client information.
- Develop credit information to inform lending decisions.
- Assist in negotiations of loan terms via phone and email.
- Prepare summaries and opinions on creditworthiness.
- Minimize risk exposure by adhering to credit policies and procedures.
- Contribute to operational programs planning and implementation.

Qualifications:
- Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
