Job summary

Southwest Heritage Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager to supervise and analyze credit information for current and potential customers. You will determine fit with credit standards and prepare comprehensive credit presentations using the bank's lending software.

You will also solicit, negotiate, and coordinate closing SBA, CRE, and commercial loans while supporting ongoing portfolio monitoring to manage credit risk and maximize returns for the bank.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in business and 3-5 years of banking experience or equivalent.
• Extensive experience, knowledge and training in lending activities, terminology, products and services.
• Knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from customers and prospects; analyze financial information including statements and tax returns.
• Prepare Credit Presentations and annual reviews for portfolio; coordinate with Lenders and Loan Operations.
• Monitor loan portfolio for risk; update risk ratings and ensure compliance with covenants.
• Ensure timely renewals and relationship reviews to avoid past-due issues.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans and maintain client relationships; support servicing actions.
• Represent the Bank in community events to strengthen market position and develop business.
