Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Portfolio Manager on the Trauma team in Mahwah, NJ. You will compile and evaluate research on customer needs and translate insights into specifications for future products. You will work across NPDP, build financial models, and shape pricing and launch strategies to maximize product value.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Clinical Affairs and Product Marketing, development of evidence plans, and lifecycle management to drive long-term growth and market adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market, competitive, and customer research using qualitative and quantitative data to identify industry trends, customer needs, and product opportunities.
  • Translate product features, benefits, and customer insights into compelling value propositions and messaging strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally throughout NPDP to evaluate opportunities, support objectives, and drive product launches.
  • Build and maintain financial business case models to support product development investments, forecasting, pricing strategies, and ROI analyses.
  • Leverage organizational capabilities to maximize product development, launch planning, and lifecycle management.
  • Define evidence-generation strategies with Clinical Affairs and Product Marketing and ensure messaging aligns with data.
  • Evaluate customer acquisition and retention opportunities, including market expansion strategies and financial tradeoffs.
  • Develop pricing strategies that align with marketing objectives, brand positioning, and business goals.
  • Develop and execute product launch plans, sales enablement tools, and marketing resources to drive market adoption.
  • Execute product lifecycle management strategies to support long-term growth and product performance.

What you will do

  • Conduct market, competitive, and customer research using qualitative and quantitative data to identify industry trends, customer needs, and product opportunities.
  • Translate product features, benefits, and customer insights into compelling value propositions and messaging strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the New Product Development Process (NPDP) to evaluate opportunities, support business objectives, and drive successful product launches.
  • Build and maintain financial business case models to support product development investments, forecasting, pricing strategies, and return-on-investment analyses.
  • Leverage organizational capabilities and strategic assets to maximize new product development, launch planning, and lifecycle management efforts.
  • Partner with Clinical Affairs and Product Marketing to define evidence-generation strategies, develop publication plans, and ensure messaging aligns with clinical and scientific data.
  • Evaluate customer acquisition and retention opportunities, including potential sources of new volume, market expansion strategies, and associated financial tradeoffs.
  • Develop pricing strategies that align with overall marketing objectives, brand positioning, and business goals.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and commercial teams to develop and execute product launch plans, sales enablement tools, channel communications, and marketing resources that drive market adoption.
  • Execute product lifecycle management (PLCM) strategies to support long-term business growth and product performance.

United States of America Pay Ranges
  • US20: $107,200 - $178,600 USD Annual
