Job summary

United is seeking a qualified professional in lending who can handle loan underwriting and financial analysis within a dynamic financial services environment in NC. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams and a strong attention to detail.

Applicants should have a degree in business or finance and at least three years in financial services, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills. Travel within the local market may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Financial Services required; exposure to Commercial Banking highly desired.
• Prior working experience with loan underwriting and credit training is required.
• Ability to successfully complete system training within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to analyze financial and project statements, corporate and personal tax returns.
• Understanding of basic loan structure processes and regulations associated with lending.
• Strong understanding of loan documentation criteria.
• Knowledge of United’s services, products, policies and procedures is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Spanish or additional language a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal, customer relations and sales skills.
• Self-starter, well-organized, detail oriented.
• Ability to work well independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel within the local market may be required.
