Job summary

KeyBank is seeking an Associate, Portfolio Management to perform financial analysis and underwriting to support multimillion-dollar corporate credit requests. The role involves credit monitoring, risk rating, and collaboration with product partners to cross-sell bank products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in finance, accounting, economics and/or business (preferred)
• Master's Degree MBA (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial underwriting, credit, banking and/or financial services experience (required)

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze all relevant financial data for clients or prospects, including spreading financial statements and coordinating with third party vendors
• Model future financial performance of clients and prospects, including downside scenarios
• Assist Business Partners/Bankers/Relationship Managers in structuring transactions
• Prepare a thorough credit underwriting document identifying risks and mitigants
• Review and maintain legal documentation including credit agreements, guarantees, and collateral documentation
• Monitor accounts/ongoing financial performance of portfolio to track covenant compliance and liquidity
