Job summary

KeyBank in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Associate, Portfolio Management to perform financial analysis and prepare underwriting documents for multimillion-dollar corporate credit requests. You will support new exposures, amendments, and ongoing credit monitoring while maintaining asset quality.

You will analyze financial statements, model scenarios, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure transactions and cross-sell bank products within a moderate risk framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial underwriting and credit experience.
• Syndicated deal experience preferred.
• Experience in Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Investment Bank, and/or Large Corporate Experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze all relevant financial data for clients or prospects and assess creditworthiness.
• Model future financial performance of clients, including downside scenarios.
• Assist Business Partners/Bankers/Relationship Managers in structuring transactions.
• Prepare thorough underwriting documents identifying risks and mitigants.
• Monitor accounts/ongoing financial performance of portfolio to track covenant compliance.
