Job summary

HDR is seeking a Microsoft Portfolio Owner to drive the health, performance, and strategic direction of HDR's Microsoft technology portfolio. You will govern investments, roadmaps, and value realization while partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, and service providers.

You will establish KPIs, coordinate with engineering and product teams, and lead governance processes to ensure alignment with business goals and technology strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years IT experience with multi-project oversight and 5 years of staff management.
• Experience translating business needs into priorities and managing expectations.
• Strong client service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, governance, and performance management of the Microsoft portfolio.
• Develop portfolio roadmaps, priorities, investments, and multi-year plans aligned to business/tech strategies.
• Facilitate portfolio reviews and provide recommendations on performance, risks, and outcomes.
• Establish and report KPIs, health metrics, financials, and value realization.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, tech teams, and stakeholders to align priorities and delivery plans.
• Balance demand, funding, capacity, and resources to optimize delivery and outcomes.
• Lead portfolio intake, prioritization, and decision-making processes.
• Promote consistent portfolio and product management practices across Microsoft ecosystem.
• Advise business leaders on portfolio strategy and investments.
• Manage vendor relationships, service delivery, and operational alignment.
• Communicate transparently via dashboards, roadmaps, and governance updates.
