Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking an Associate Portfolio Executive to build and manage a customer portfolio and develop long-term relationships.

You will use AI-powered tools to simplify quoting, planning, and scheduling, enabling you to focus on selling and problem-solving. You’ll operate with autonomy while supported by onboarding, coaching, and a clear path for accelerated career growth in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months Customer Engagement Experience internal or external
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a portfolio of customers, strengthening relationships and uncovering needs.
• Re-engage dormant accounts and expand within existing customers to increase revenue.
• Own day-to-day customer interactions by responding quickly to questions and resolving conflicts.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal partners to meet commitments.
• Quote and price freight, applying negotiation skills and market insight.
• Plan, build, and execute shipments (with AI agent support) aligned to customer expectations.
• Identify account growth potential and cultivate partnerships.
• Use data, reporting, and market updates to uncover service and growth opportunities.
