Job summary

Brentwood Associates is building a Growth & Operations team and seeking an Operating Partner - Finance (CFO/SVP Finance) to architect and scale finance, accounting, and revenue operations across 18+ portfolio companies. You will own the portfolio finance operating system, set policy, approve roadmaps, and hire critical finance leadership.

You will codify close, reporting, and budgeting playbooks, standardize FP&A, and drive cross‑company insights.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive finance leadership, with at least one CFO or divisional SVP Finance role.
PE‑backed, growth‑stage experience; multi‑site or multi‑entity exposure preferred.
Cross‑model fluency across essential services, consumer multi‑unit, and SaaS/recurring revenue.
Entrepreneurial builder who pilots and scales modern finance tech—ERP/FP&A, billing, automation, and AI/analytics.
Experience with NetSuite, MS Dynamics 365, SAP S/4, Adaptive/Anaplan/Planful, Zuora/Chargebee, Tableau/Power BI, Snowflake.

Responsibilities

Codify playbooks for monthly close acceleration and FP&A discipline.
Lead portfolio‑wide rollout of Henon.ai for performance management and cross‑company reporting.
Set and enforce portfolio‑wide close timing, forecast cadence, and KPI taxonomy.
Standardize board/investor reporting and improve forecasting rigor.
Drive working capital optimization and cash‑flow forecasting across the portfolio.
Evaluate and deploy ERP, FP&A, billing, and data/BI systems.
Mature revenue operations from quoting to renewals, with SaaS focus.
Embed with portfolio management teams at key inflection points (ERP upgrades, PMI, add‑ons).
Define KPIs to increase visibility and accountability; lead M&A integration efforts.
