Job summary

Fluence, a Nasdaq-listed energy storage leader, seeks a Portfolio Finance Manager to oversee financial performance of a US portfolio of BESS projects. Reports to Director, Portfolio Finance Management.

You will drive accounting compliance, manage contracts, track estimates, and coordinate with project managers, customers, and suppliers to optimize revenue, costs, and margins.

Strong experience with NetSuite/SAP is valued; MBA/CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing finances for large energy projects.
• Advanced project accounting and POC revenue recognition.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite/SAP.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s in accounting or finance; MBA/CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management for portfolio of BESS projects in the Americas.
• Monitor budget vs. estimates, prepare monthly EAC reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines and contract terms.
• Manage change orders, supplier claims, and penalties.
• Coordinate with project managers and external stakeholders.
• Track tax requirements and onboarding/execution processes.
