Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Our client in the Real Estate industry, is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Portfolio Finance Associate. This role will follow a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements and tax returns to complete financial models for assigned properties within the portfolio
• Review fixed assets to ensure accurate calculation of depreciation and amortization
• Maintain and update investor benefit schedules utilizing internal general ledger data and construction or lease-up schedules from asset management
• Perform financial analysis and ongoing evaluations to monitor investor performance, delivering clear and timely insights to stakeholders
• Identify underperforming or high-risk properties and escalate issues for resolution
• Interpret and apply the terms of partnership agreements and other legal documents related to transactions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required
• 1–3 years of experience in tax, accounting, or financial analysis; prior exposure to real estate or investment-related industries is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, tax returns, and partnership agreements
• Experience with financial modeling, general ledger systems, and fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and amortization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting and financial reporting software is a plus
• Ability to synthesize complex financial data and communicate findings clearly and accurately
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
