$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Project Finance Associate

The Horizon Group is searching for a Project Finance Associate for one of our international banking clients located in Manhattan, NY. The position would be supporting the origination team with credit analysis, portfolio management and new business development.

Responsibilities:

Pre-analysis of Project Finance deals as follows:

o Independent risk orientated analysis of Project Finance transactions and structures

o Participation in meetings with customers and banks

o Identification of risks and evaluation of risk mitigating factors

o Building / analysis of cash flow models incl. detection of risk drivers

o Making of indicative ratings for Project Finance transactions

o Recommendations regarding further handling of the transaction

· Work in deal teams with Head Office Risk Management in new transactions, including the preparation of the credit papers

· Participation in negotiations with the customer

· Local Project Finance origination and loan administration

· Working on projects within the bank related with risk management or Project Finance

Skills / Experience:

· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Project Finance

· Wide and deep knowledge of complex Project Finance transactions

· Thorough computer applications skills (MS office)
