Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

An Investment Management firm in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an ESG Analyst. This role will follow a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ESG analysis on current and prospective private credit investments
• Support ESG due diligence by identifying material risks and opportunities
• Coordinate the collection and evaluation of ESG data from portfolio companies, including KPIs and sustainability metrics
• Prepare regular ESG performance reports and updates for key stakeholders
• Assist in the development and implementation of ESG policies and frameworks tailored to private credit
• Monitor ESG trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices
• Benchmark ESG practices against industry standards
• Collaborate with investment teams and portfolio companies to align on ESG priorities and initiatives
• Respond to ESG-related client requests, questionnaires, and presentations
• Contribute to annual sustainability reports and other firm-wide ESG communications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, environmental science, or related field; or completion of a top-tier investment banking training program
• 1–2 years of experience as an analyst in financial services or ESG consulting; ESG research experience or coursework is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
• Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in business English
• Capable of independent research and preparing presentation materials
• Collaborative team player with a high energy level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Additional language skills are a plus, but not required
